Beaches & Swimming
Several public access points around Silver Lake provide places to swim, picnic, paddle, or simply enjoy the shoreline. Access and parking requirements vary by location.
Foot of the Lake / Town Beach
Residents and guests. Picnic tables, grills, restrooms and a swimming float.
Parking at Foot of the Lake on East Shore Drive requires a current Madison Facility Permit.

ON THE WATER
Boating & Launching
The Town Boat Ramp on East Shore Drive is the public approved launch site on Silver Lake for motorized boats. Annual launch permits are required.
Boats and trailers must also comply with aquatic invasive species prevention requirements before entering the lake.
